In celebration of International Women's Day, join us for an evening of taking action and caring for our community. From 5pm-7pm, connect with activists from Planned Parenthood Utah, Salt Lake Community Bail Fund, Project Rainbow, STAY Somebody's Thinking About You, Comunidades Unidas, and more! Then, at 7pm, we will have a community building workshop led by Blue Parker and Steph Stevers from Flourish Therapy. Light refreshments will be provided.

SISTER exists to increase the visibility of women, femmes, queer, nonbinary, and GNC artists in Utah. Their collective is committed to curating brave spaces that celebrate, uplift, and care for the communities they highlight, while also being a platform for distributing resources and raising awareness about issues impacting these identities.
Blue is a first-generation student who graduated from Weber State University with their Masters in Social Work in 2023. They are passionate about social justice and advocating for the rights of the 2SLGTBQIA+ community and their intersecting identities. Much of what drew them to social work is their own lived experience as a queer, non-binary, multiply neurodivergent person. They like to utilize both their educational and lived experience knowledge to best help folxs in therapy.
Steph is currently an associate therapist at Flourish. She recently completed a Master of Social Work degree at Arizona State University. Before that, she completed her bachelor’s degree in psychology at Ohio State University. She is originally from Ohio, but moved to Utah for the love of the mountains. During her time in Ohio, she was a licensed Substance Abuse Counselor for three years. She focuses on client-centered therapy with strengths-based perspectives. Her main goal is to provide a safe space for clients to recognize and develop their strengths and coping strategies. She has previous training and professional education in substance abuse/misuse, grief, and cancer-related stressors. Additionally, she has personal experience with religious trauma, mental health issues, familial issues, and LGBTQ+ individuals.
